Resolved Styles with Multisite

I have 3 forums using Multisite. Each of course is unique. They all use the default style with some changes to show different header background and logo. My question is, is it better to use the parent or child style for the individual sites? What is the difference?

In general, there is no difference if you use separate parent style or child style for each site. It depends on how you organize your styles and how you implemented the changes for each style, they are independent styles or have parent/child configuration in which case changes made in parent style are automatically applied to child styles too. In both cases Multisite System will work as designed.
